Meet the Smile Doctor
Dr. Brian K. Tavoian
Dr. Tavoian is a Utah native who began his dental career after graduating from UNL in 1992. He served in the National Guard from 1985 to 1991 and has participated in numerous humanitarian missions to serve those less fortunate.
He is dedicated to providing the highest level of dental care possible to his patients, and he has attended numerous continuing education courses in oral surgery, implantology, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontal surgery, prosthodontics, and digital imaging to stay up to date on the latest in dental techniques.

Sedation Dentistry For Optimal Comfort

Nitrous
Oxide
Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is inhaled to induce a state of relaxation. Nitrous oxide is a mild form of sedation and wears off quickly after it is stopped.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Your dentist will prescribe an anxiety medication that is taken before your appointment. You will remain awake, but relaxed and comfortable. You will need a responsible adult to drive you to and from your appointment.
IV Sedation
This is the deepest form of sedation we offer and is often used for procedures like wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placement. Like oral conscious sedation, you will need someone to drive you to and from your appointments.
